SPONGITEX was founded in 1977 at Bouhjar Monastir. It employs 170 people working both on the plant and at the headquarters located in Tunis.

SPONGITEX is specialized in making house and hotel linen wear including towels, bed sheets and table cloths. It has a daily production capacity of 1.500 KG .

SPONGITEX belongs to company holding and has its own weaving unit ( SOGETISS) and dyeing plant (TEINKO), which gives more flexibility in the choice of linen quality and colour.

SPONGITEX is working mainly for supermarkets, wholesalers, ready-made tailors, community organizations, hotels etc.
